When should you use this service?

 

This is for when you have already made a decision to purchase one of the 24 CRM's from Gary's site, and just have a few questions about that specific product before doing so. Call Gary to get your questions answered. The whole point of this option is that you are no longer comparing. You are ready. You just have some specific questions. If you are waffling between two or three different CRM's, this option is not for you because it will take longer than 10 minutes. You are more than welcome to take longer than 10 minutes, but please realize you will then be billed for the consultation option and be rebated when you purchase.

 

Some examples of questions which are not for this option as they will more than likely take more than 10 minutes:

  • Do you think this product is a good choice?

  • Is this the best one for my needs?

  • Is this better than the other one?

  • Are there any others that do this that are cheaper?

  • Is their customer service good?

  • Is this easy to learn and use?

I've been on RealTalk for several years now and I have to say there are many fine people who post and many fine vendors, but in all the land Gary David Hall is at the top of the heap (sorry Saul, you'll have to take a mere 2nd spot today :) ). When you need to define customer service, call or email Gary. He will show you what it means! Somebody who goes above and beyond whether they make a nickel or not.

I was a long time (15 years) ACT user. The last decent version of ACT was 6.0. Since that release Sage bought Act and basically destroyed a great product. Their first "new" version (Act 2005) was so bad that no one could make it work...Act 2006 wasn't much better...2007 is so convoluted that ACT consultants suggest hiring a consultant to install the software. I spent 9 months trying to get ACT 2007 to work properly & finally threw in the towel.

 

Through this list I was introduced to Gary David Hall  http://www.garydavidhall.com/ and have found him to be a true guru when it comes to contact management software. He sells them all: Act, Top Producer, Agent Office etc.

 

Not only is Gary knowledgeable, but he has taken the time to listen to my needs, offer solid suggestions, provide working copies of the leading contact management software on a trial basis and finally I settled on Agent Office, Version 10 which I purchased directly from Gary's web site.

 

When I was ready to convert my 800+ contacts from Act to Agent Office, Gary was there...logging on to my computer via the internet to assist in getting the new software set up & the Act files moved over.

 

Gary offers additional help in maximizing the Agent Office software which I plan to avail myself of soon.

 

I've only been using Agent Office for less than a month, but it works! It also runs circles around Act.

 

P.S. I'm not on Gary's payroll...... just a happy customer.

Go ahead and call. I wasn't sure which CRM prouct I wanted to go with, only that I knew I needed to find something. On Gary's web site there is an option to call and speak with someone or email. I sent an email, briefly explaining what I thought I needed and a little about what I wanted now and in the future from my business. Within 15 minutes I got a call back. We spoke for a few minutes determined the program that would best work for me. He directed me to a site where I could view a version of the program and Gary demonstrated the program for me. It was probably a 20 minute conversation. No hard sell, just information.

 

Because Gary does not just represent one company, he is able to answer your questions honestly and without a thought of his compensation. This is exactly what I needed as I was not sure which program would work best for me.

 

As a side note- when I made a similar post in the past, I did get several helpful off line responses- thank you to those. However I also got an email from someone who's first email came through as "John Doe" offering his services as a rep from company XYZ and a hard sell as to why I should purchase through him. As my original post was requesting a site where I could get unbiased comparisons about the various programs, I felt this particular response was very inappropriate. Give Gary a call.
