Instructions for implementing
the Agent Office Activity
Plans & Letters

These plans and letters are pretty much the same as
Trans-Plans. They are the pre-cursor for Trans-Plans. The only real
advantage of these is that they are not dependent upon any specific version of
AO, and they cost less!
All the plans must be printed and then keyed in
manually.
All the letters can be imported, but only one at a
time, so it will take about an hour.
You will receive an e-mail with a Zip file which contains 4 folders;
Activities,
Promos, Letters, and Introduction, with all the files in them.
Here are step-by-step instructions to implement
the Agent Office Activity Plans.
1) Right
click on the attachment, and click on "Save As", and save it to your desktop,
or a folder where you are sure you will be able to find it again.
2) Find the file and double click on it to open it up. You must have WinZip to
open it. You'll know if you have it, if you double click on it, and it
doesn't do anything, or asks you what you want to open it with. The vast
majority of people already have it. If you do not have it,
it for a free trial version.
3) Unzip the
folders/files to a folder on your computer.
Optimally, you should create a folder in your "My Documents" folder, maybe
called "Agent Office Imports", to unzip it to.
4) Locate the folder called "Letters".
Click here for a tutorial on how to import the
letters into Agent Office. Import ALL of the letters
BEFORE creating your plans.
NOTE: THE LETTERS
AND PROMO PIECES WILL NOT OPEN IN ANYTHING OTHER THAN AGENT OFFICE.
THEY MUST BE IMPORTED.
5) Locate the folder called "Promos".
Click here for a tutorial on how to import the Promo pieces into Agent Office.
Import ALL your promo pieces BEFORE creating your plans.
6) If you're like most people, you only read
the directions if you can't make sense of whatever it is without them. IF
YOU DO THAT WITH THESE PLANS - YOU'RE SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT!
PLEASE - locate the folder called "Introduction". Print out the
Introduction file, and read it BEFORE keying in the activities. They will make much more sense, and you will have a better idea
of which ones to use, and why.
7)
Locate the folder called "Activity Plans". Print them out.
The Activities
themselves, which have the descriptions with them, must be manually keyed in, to
create your plans. For a tutorial on how to create activity plans -
