office and teach Agent Office to their team. When I explained that I could do it
online with GoToMeeting, Julie told me that their Internet connection was not

Real Estate Contact Management/CRM Solutions
There are more and more CRM
(Customer Relationship Management) solutions coming out every day. What are the
differences between them?
Far and away the biggest
issue I see facing the majority of agents who are just beginning to search for a
CRM is a very simple and universal one. You do not know what you do not know.
I hope to minimize that
problem here. This seminar covers many facets concerning the considerations
there are when it comes to deciding which solution to choose. They include
evaluating your aptitude, your needs, and your goals. They include an
explanation of a significant percentage of the features that are available in
Real Estate specific Contact Managers and CRMs, so that you know from which you
have to choose. It speaks to the costs; Mac versus PC; when to buy one; why to
buy one, backing up; exporting and importing databases; creating your own
database; or going with an Outlook add-on; how to use one once you get it; the
history of them, Web based versus Desktop; and much more.
On a daily basis, people come
to me with all manner of questions relating to Real Estate Contact Management
and CRM solutions. Not one realizes that there are over 40 different programs to
choose from, and many have never used one before. It is a daunting task,
especially if you do not know where to begin. The bottom line with most is that
they have come to the realization that they need one, or that they need a better
one than they have.
As with anything, you can go
out and pretty much grab the first one you see, or maybe the one you have heard
the most about. If you give it any thought at all though, you realize that this
really is a very important decision, assuming you are going to use it for more
than just a glorified Rolodex.
How do you decide which one is right for you? What
information can be imported into them, and how is it done? The question often
asked is, "Which one is best?". The question which really should be asked is,
"Which one is the best for me?".
This is a seminar to help the agents make the
determination as to which CRM solution is the best one for them. If they already
have one, this seminar will help guide them as to whether or not to stay with
the one they have. Get answers relevant to questions such as:
- How may people will be using it? If more
than one, do they need their own calendar and contacts? What are their
- What do you need it to do for you?
- Windows or Mac?
- Tablet? What kind?
- What phones will be used?
- What do you use for e-mail?
- Do you get it through an exchange server through your
- Do you have to have template e-mails and
activity plans included, or are you willing to create them yourself, or
buy them as an add-on?
