TREO 650 Synching Aid

Because of new technologies the Treo 650 has
introduced, it's a bit more difficult to setup AgentOffice to sync with the Treo
650 than the previous models. First of all, you need to have AgentOffice v6.0 or
higher installed and all critical updates applied.
Once you've met those requirements, outlined below are the exact steps to follow
to get your AgentOffice working with the Treo 650 (I know there's a lot of
steps, but if you follow them you should be working with the Treo 650):
1. Install Palm Desktop, with Hotsync
2. Sync device with Palm Desktop
3. Install the APP Interface (run AgentOffice CD, select "Install" tab and
select "APP Interface").
4. Start AgentOffice, check of updates and apply (APP Interface update available
if AO version is < 7.5).
5. Close AgentOffice.
6. Go into AgentOffice Utilities, via Start > Programs > AgentOffice >
AgentOffice Utilities.
7. Select Accusync on the menu bar and select Master Options. If Master Options
is grayed out, it means master options are already enabled.
8. Close the AgentOffice Utilities.
9. Sync the Palm Device.
10. Open the HotSync Manager.
11. Click on Custom.
12. Click on Agent Contacts.
13. Select Synchronizer Palm tm Hand Held and Agent. Set as Default.
14. Click on Agent Activities.
15. Select Synchronize Palm tm Hand Held and Agent. Set as Default.
16. Click on Calendar.
17. Select Do Nothing. Set as Default.
18. Click on Contacts.
19. Select Do Nothing. Set as Default.
20. Click on Tasks.
21. Select Do Nothing. Set as Default. (this is a new conduit used for
synchronizing Palm with Outlook.)
22. Close HotSync Manager.
23. Sync the Palm Device.
