I like that your leads are on the home screen with the source and the status and that various types of leads are available with one click on the right side of the page. I also like the calendar being available by day/week/month with one click. You also have a tab that shows anniversaries rather than having to look them up or be notified in some list. Overall it’s a good home page with quick access to the things you would normally want there.
Unique or Notable Features
♥ IDX Feed – Best in Class! I have been asked for this feature many many times over the years and it’s finally here at a cost that is more than acceptable. This is going to knock your socks off. One other company does this, Propertybase, but it has a four license minimum and it’s far more expensive. This is an MLS feed directly into Masterdigm. What does that mean? It means you no longer have to keep your leads in your MLS for the new listing notifications. You can set them up right from within Masterdigm. But it’s better than the MLS in many ways. When you look at a Lead, you can see what you have sent them, what they have clicked on, and much more! You can also display a list (image-3) that shows you which people are interested in a property or you can select from a list of people and send them the listing. This is what agents have been waiting for for a very long time. This ends the age old waste of time of having two different databases (your MLS people and your CRM people).
♥Virtual Assistant Interface – Best in Class! This is the single most innovative idea I have seen in years. What is the biggest problem about adopting use of a CRM? Learning it? Of course it is. I can’t tell you how many agents I have worked with that really want to start using a CRM but they end up failing because they don’t make the time to learn it because they are too busy and do not make it a priority. Okay so imagine that you get a CRM and all you have to do is add contacts and phone numbers and such. You don’t have to learn the rest of it if you don’t want to, or you can take your time because someone else is doing the rest for you. Clear as mud? Here’s the scenario. You’re out at a new listing and you take your pictures, videos, and you talk some notes into your phone. You then simply load those files into your CRM, click on VA the button, and tell the VA to create your listing in the CRM using the photos etc. Why is this so innovative? For several reasons. The VA literally has their own section in the CRM where you can post projects for her/him. They are trained specifically to work with Masterdigm. The cost is very reasonable at only $12-15/hr. You can use them as much as you want or just for an hour in a month if that’s all you need. It is strictly project based. Speaking of the cost, it tracks the time the VA uses so you have a built-in accountability system so you know you’re not being cheated. And if you want to pay the VA to walk you through learning more, one-on-one, about the CRM they can do that too. Most agents who are considering an assistant are concerned about paying them when they are slow. With a VA that is not the case. You use them when you need them and you don’t have to worry about training them. And maybe best of all, you don’t have to find one. If you really think about this concept you will realize that it breaks down so many walls that have kept agents from fully utilizing a CRM. Truly a huge innovation.
♥Internal Email Software Client – Best in Class! One of the biggest wastes of time in our business is having to use a CRM and and email separately. The trend for a couple years now has been to store emails with the contact in the history and that’s been a tremendous improvement. But this is far better. Having the message stored is nice but they are not actionable. By that i mean you can not go into the contact’s history, to the email, and reply/forward it. For about six years I was using a CRM called Advantage Xi. It was a great program but it was a desktop application you installed on your computer (versus web based) so I moved away from it. It was a painful move because it also had it’s own email software built in to it and I have to tell you I miss that a lot. It makes you so much more efficient when your emails are all stored automatically and you don’t have to keep bouncing back and forth between email and CRM.
And they have created a novel approach that removes the only objection you could have to having your email in your CRM. It only pulls emails from Gmail if it is in a folder you have designated for Masterdigm to import. The objection has been that people don’t want all the junk email coming into their CRM. This stops that because you filter your email through Gmail and only allow what you want to continue on through to Masterdigm where it is stored with the contact record. And after suggesting it to William, he will eventually add the ability to store the emails with the transaction instead of or in addition to the contact record. This is another feature that is very rare.
I realize that it is difficult to appreciate how much of an advantage this is, but I’m here to tell you that it is huge.
